It's possible I suppose but I am usually skeptical of sweeping generalities about a group of people based on sex, gender, sexual preference, race, religion, lack of religion, nationality, etc. As far as I'm concerned female comedians are just like male comedians; some are funny and some aren't.
I also resent some one saying females "should not" be comedians as opposed to just saying you don't enjoy female comedians. It's no different than stereotyping people based on race, religion, social class or nationality, etc. As far as I'm concerned anyone should be able to try to be a stand up comedian. Whether or no he or she makes it depends on talent and appeal.
