Why were you expecting her to message on thursday? You said You would keep her posted (about a date on thursday).
So by the time she got the message on friday, she was probably thinking "eh..can't be bothered".
I agree, don't put up with flakiness.
I think 2 chances is enough. As in, if you try and arrange a date and they say "I can't, maybe on X day", then before X day you call and they can't - then forget about them.
But in this example, I think it's your fault too.
