Is it normal i don't get the "into" black guys thing?

MTV told them to date blacks.

It's no more of a thing than fair-haired women dating dark-haired men, or blue-eyed men dating brown-eyed women. It's a thing because you make it a thing.

Maybe fat and ugly people care less about conventional standards of beauty in their partners, and the race thing is a red herring.

Any dating "trend" is idiotic.

It could be that she just likes the look of black guys. I'm really into pale girls for no other reason than i like their skin tone. its normal to not get it im not into black guys either so i dont get it, then again im also a black guy so that might be why. ive known girls that specifically go for black guys though i have no idea why

likewise i have seen black women that only go for white guys just so you know.

Also sorry about your sister. I hope she finds the strength to leave him if he's being abusive. No matter the race, abusive relationships shouldn't be tolerated. Don't let the race of the douchebag ruin your view of black people okay? Because like any other race, there are good people.

I don't know if this example is the similar but I noticed a lot of rappers talk about how they always want a light skinned girl and it kinda makes me feel bad for the darker skinned girls because saying those things makes some of them feel like their inadequate.
Probably the wrong kind of comment for this thread but it just came to mind when I read this post. I just thought I'd put it out here in the open.

First, society in general is less racist..so all those people that are attracted to people of different color or who have no qualms about dating people of differnt colror feel more comfortable in acting on it...rememner just a 100 years ago people who dated outside their race were in danger of their lives and just 50 years ago there were still serious consequences such as being harrassed and being shunned by family and friends...now finally for many the consequences are not as severe...there may be some..but not like the old days...this applies to gay re

Also there are trends and fads ...like girls kissing each other when drunk...its trendy ..

theres another reason but i will sound racist but im not its just that many areas that have an ample supply of drugs are impoverished inner city areas that have a large percentage of people of color...and many white girls from the surrounding suburban areas need friends and suppliers of these drugs and you will see these white girls often hook up with inner city guys that can keep them connected to this supply

People have preferences. Some people fetishise ethnicity - this includes women.

So some white women find black men more attractive than the alternative. What we find attractive is rarely, if ever, a conscious decision.

Sounds to me like you couldn't get laid in a brothel; envy and sour grapes.

Presumably it's so widely promoted because it's just one effective method out of many to bring the White race to oblivion. HOWEVER, just as you said:
