Everyone is different and finds happiness in things that others mind find silly or dull. Although my oppinion is that no matter how close you are to your family it never hurts having one or two close friends. Plus friends are also our family, we only give it a different name!
Also people that feel sad of others just because they can't understand their lifestyle are sad themselves!
