Is it called the theory of evolution because it's a theory?
The big bang is also a theory. I'm not a religious person but theories are just that, theories. The big bang theory doesn't stack up when you scrutinize it. Most people hear the theory and take it as absolute fact. It's obvious how the universe was created; God reached out into the void and touched it, there was a big flash, and a bang,a very big bang (in the vacuum of space?) then everything came into being. I thought everybody knew this?
Only fact according to what we currently know about the universe. We all once thought the earth was flat. Theories are theories, humans ain't so smart.
Is it normal I don't buy into religion?

A scientific theory is different from an ordinary theory. (Like a meringue dress is not a meringue ;D)
A scientific theory is fact.
