Yeah, I can understand that. To be completely honest Alaska has never appealed to me. I'm originally from Houston, Texas so I need to have the amenities, and trappings of modern life close at hand and at a reasonable price.

I've heard it's hella expensive. Too damn cold, and I'm sure the shopping can't compare to a big city or Las Vegas for that matter.
No sales tax either
