    Computer yes if you credit Babbage. Internet no. The internet was widely born with tcp/ip which was a development of arpanet. The US DoD.

          One of the inventors/founder was an Englishman, Tim Berners-Lee. He created the first website in 1989. Belgium also gets credit.
