Is it normal i cant gain weight ?!

I made an earlier post about how i'm wanting to gain weight , but now the question is is it normal that I can't ?
My sport season is over so now I pretty much just eat, sleep, and do homework.
I don't understand why I don't gain weight because I'm 5'7 and 89 pounds.
Am I okay, do you think anything is wrong with my body? Thanks !

  • Maybe you have tapeworms or some other parasite, go see a doctor just in case.

Take protin and lift. I was the same was as you are I was healthy and I could eat a feast for a week straight and gain like 2lb. I was 6'3 125lb now couple months later after taking protin, working out and lifting im now 6'3 152 lb.

I'm the same height and about 105-110. I have a very fast metabolism and a small stomach, but the doc' said it's alright, but you might want to check to make sure.

I would see a doctor. Maybe it is your thyroid?

  • You probably just have a fast metabolism... (which means that your body processes the nutrients you feed it a lot quicker, and burns off fat much more easily) I have a few friends like that, and it's nothing to worry about...

I'm 5ft 3 inches and 105lb. This is very good for me, and taken a lot of hard work to get here as I have been 15 pounds or more lighter before. I still want to be a bit more heavier. Some people just aren't made that way. My dietician told me to bulk out foods, such as having cheese on toast instead of butter, using full fat milk and instead of having just a sandwich have some crisps as well, adding calories gradually without having a binge which would make u feel uncomfortable. It has worked for me but is hard...

You are my size...and it's really really small. You should talk to a doc and perhaps see a nutritionist.

If you're not really working out, you could be losing muscle and gaining fat
