I agree with you, but sometimes it depends on the surface/embodiment.
In the city wether it be NYC or London, if there are allot of people than the noise is usually blocked. I'm not a high heel person, I prefer sneakers. But I think some people can pull it off like GAGA.
It's always irritating when I'm walking in a quiet area and out of the blue, I hear those damn heels trying to ruin the peace!
Sometimes, the sound is a slight turn-on, but it really depends on whose walking in them.
Stilettos remind me of dominatrixes clad in latex with whips. But you must admit Cat Women makes this look sexy!
Damn, I'm a really complicated person! They're other sounds that really piss me off, though. Like the rapid jingling of keys, but I totally understand your pain.
