  • Mostly embarrassment I think. I know doctors have heard everything already but it still feels strange and wrong revealing something so intimate to a complete stranger.

It's different on here, because I don't have to face anyone in person, and can be annonoymous!

So when the doctor says "so how can I help you?" or whatever, how would you suggest I start out / phrase it?

    • I'd just explain the problem as clinically as I could. Maybe it would help to go to a doctor you don't normally go to, and barring the need for return treatments for the same issue, never go to that doctor again. Just the idea that you'll not have to face them again might help.

Other than that, I really don't know how to go about it. I'm not at all shy about showing off the gifts that were bestowed on me, so I'm out of my depth, so to speak, on this matter.
