Ever considered that racism and being a social outsider (in society in general, not as in being a minority where you live) might have contributed to their tendency for crime? Self fulfilling prophecy? Race itself doesn't make people worse or better. I think you know that. I understand it's hard dealing with feeling unsafe in your neighbourhood and getting annoyed. But racism isn't a solution, it breeds more hate and a more fucked up society in general. Also, just because you don't like the clothing style and maybe culture there personally, doesn't make it worse than yours. Crime is obviously not ok, but just consider the greater system behind it before you give in to the urge to become racist. You're a social misfit where you live now, and it makes you angry, black people are still social misfits and treated unequally in more areas of life than white people are aware of most of the time. My guess is that this makes some of them get angry too and decide to rather live by their own rules. I don't know much about this, but that's my guess. It's impossible though that skin colour has anything to do with how good or bad a person is, and I bet you wouldn't wanna be judged by your skin colour based on other people your race who commit crimes. If you don't feel comfortable where you live though, maybe moving is still a good idea.
I had to read your reply a couple of times and i thank you again! I really dont think i actually judge by their color, just on how they behave and dress, such as sagging pants, hat on sideways, cussing loudly in public and committing crimes. Every night on the news, i always, almost always hear of shootings! the victim, usually black and the shooter is black!
is it normal i became racist?
