Social anxiety is a common behavior. However, I don't think this is healthy for your self esteem. I think that, if you believe you sound dumb try to sound more intelligent. Plan out your thoughts before they escape your mind and then speak professionally. I think that you are putting too much thought into what others believe. At the end of the day, if you're happy with yourself, then that's the only approval that you need.
