It's normal to some extent. has your boyfriend had a few girlfriends that were introduced to the family also before you? if so the family might be having a hard time investing in you emotionally because they've been in situations like this one before. i suggest you talk to them preferably the mom, tell her you love her son very much and the vibe you've been getting from her, you never know she might be feeling the exact same way. generally boyfriend's mothers take a while to warm up if you get through to her getting along with the rest of family will be a breeze. goodluck
