Is it normal i am always voted out from what i want.

Whenever there is a group decision what I want is always opposite from what the group wants. This happens in a variety of situations. They will often want to compromise but I still do not get the results I would choose. This leaves me always singled out because I have unpopular opinions. I feel resentment towards everyone for not getting to do things my way and I would rather not deal with anyone but at the same time I feel they keep me held back from doing what I would like to. I am angry that everyone wants to work against me.

It sucks to be the only intelligent one in a crowd. The others are pretty much sheep, following the popular, if wrong, idea.
My solution was to become an excellent mariner, a boat captain. My choices are what everyone must follow; there is no democracy aboard a boat! I'm the boss and as the saying goes, "the captain's word is law!" and disagreement is neither welcome, nor allowed.
Now get out that mop and scrub the deck til she shines, matey.

Yeah I know what you mean. I felt the same as a teenager and to remedy the problem I have taken two steps
    (1) don't get involve in groups or group things
    (2) when i don't agree i don't participate.

People usually don't like me much :/
