There are whiny, annoying reactionaries on BOTH sides of the spectrum. And the problem is that both sides have hardened into a collective ideology that accuses the other of planning an authoritarian takeover. The Right worries about the Left plotting a Communist revolution, and the Left says the Right is organizing into a Fourth Reich Nazi coup. On Twitter, intersectional feminists screech about threats from 'cis white males,' and over on BitChute the front page is a wall of conspiracy theorists who report on the latest regrading the upper echelon Hollywood pedophile cult that harvests adrenochrome.
No matter where you identify, someone is always out to get you. You are Do you strike first, or do you wait for them to move? My biggest fear is that all of this will eventually lead to a new civil war. We need to infuse some bipartisanship for real before it blows up.
