You are correct about the current people who by some logic I do not understand claim they are "conservative."
They are not... they are radical changers and yes they complain just as bad as the other radicals of other belief systems.
Real conservatives would not be trying to force their version of religion on the rest of the American Public by passing laws regarding a variety of so called 'religious' issues. Real conservatives would correctly label some of those 'religious' issues as total modern fabrications with Zero biblical (or other ancient religious document) support.
Real conservatives would not have increased the national debt (or if they did by only a bit) during the President Trump administration - as an actual basis of real conservatism is small central government and balanced budgets.
Real conservatives also worked with other politicians to compromise and find an way to move forward...
Real conservatism died decades ago... (I remember when it existed).
Now we have in my opinion extremist who wish to impose their will on everyone in the fake name of being conservative....
