Using that logic you can relate any two things. For example I could say apples will be the reason the world will end.
" A lot of people like red apples. The demand for red apples will increase with the rise of population. Soon it will be so high that we'll all go to war over control of the apple-trade. Civilization will slowly implode through the course of these wars and treachery."
See how ridiculous that sounds?
