Is it normal hot shower/water nausea

When I take a nice hot shower, about 5 minutes in I begin to feel nausea and dizziness. I have to turn the cold on really quickly, or sometimes I even have to escape the shower. Also, if I drink water in the morning I experience nausea as well. I usually have to throw up to feel better. Both of these have been happening since I can remember. Does anyone else have these problems or am I a freak?

OMG that happens to me !! But only when I'm in there for too long. Try not showering on an empty stomach -- acid can add on to nausea. -- & also make sure the temperature of your water isn't fully on its hottest. It can dry out ur skin causing you to become dehydrated.

The water part also happens to me but that's because I have GERD. ( more sever form of acid reflux )

1)You might have low blood pressure.
2)You might be dehydrated. Maybe you should drink more water.

That happened to me a lot when I could still take showers, but that's due to a Problem. It sounds pretty severe for you. If you can, talk to a doctor.

That happens to me occasionally. I don't know if it's normal. It doesn't happen to me all the time, but often enough.

When I have hot showers, I get a similar feeling and my heart races too fast because I have high blood presure. I'd check my heart out at the doctors if I were you just to be safe.
However, this is interesting because my mother has always complained about not being able to drink water in the morning without throwing up. I always thought she was just saying it to avoid drinking water. But now, I see that another person has the problem too.
Hmm, I wonder what this inability to drink water in the morning could be...

Not really. Go see a doctor.
