Is it normal friend shot someone?

My friend (of many years) and I went to a nice restaurant this weekend to celebrate the holidays. We had a few drinks. Needless to say, my friend did not hold his liquor very well and began to talk quite a bit. He ended up telling me he shot someone about 10 years ago. It was quite a long time ago. I am not sure where it even happened or any details. But, I am torn as to what to do or say at this point.

Is It Normal?

  • Is your friend Dick Cheney?

  • Maybe you ask him about it and then he sees you as a liability. YOU'RE NEXT. :)

  • Many people have pasts. You need to figure out if this person's past is really past or present. Hard to do but serious business.

  • Maybe he shot somebody and they end up surviving. As Long as they aren't dead and the poor guy/girl family isn't looking for the person who did it. Maybe accidentally they did and the other person forgive them

  • OK

  • I would leave it as it is, maybe he did and maybe he didn't but I wouldn't attempt to dig too deep into his past.

He might have accidently shot someone, I think I would prefer to believe, if I were you.

What is his usual demeanour and how does he normally act? If we have an more of an idea about him, we can offer more ideas.

  • he was drunk so i wouldnt say its good evidence ask him and who knows maybe the person only got shot in the arm or something doesnt mean he killed someone

  • He probably dreamed the night before that he shot somebody,no big deal. Dreams can seem real sometimes
