    You did absolutely nothing wrong. You were just a child yourself.
    Your ´friend´was however old enough to know better. Maybe you should indeed contact the police though ...?

      even if i did they wouldn't be able to do anything, it was so long ago that i can't even remember where they lived and their names. without anything to go on it would be really difficult for the police to find them with no information
