fyi - recently a doctor (female) in Aus. or NZ developed a new twist to 'female condoms', one with a whole bunch of slanted barbs inside. This is with the purpose of reducing rape of females. The women wear the condom all the time. except of course when they desire sex. The device doesn't prevent penetration, as the penis slides in nicely. But OH the damage when he withdraws. If he doesn't kill the victim first, he heads for a hospital with a penis that looks like a pin cushion. The ER docs. are all trained to recognize the inflicted damage & contact the authorities. One more rapist off the streets. Lest you think this is fiction, I suggest that you Google 'Female Condom'. You'll have to go through maybe a dozen sites re: regular (normal) female condoms but you'll get to a couple site that have a write-up on these 'barbed female condoms' complete with photos of the doc. along with photos of the device. I am not ever again having sex without a little 'sticky finger' first. My little guy hurts just thinking about this. But, desparate deeds require desparate measures.
