Is it normal for your period to change?

My period has never came on schedule but it ha always been 6 days long... But for the last 2 months it has only lasted a day and not even a full one... Is this normal or ???

    My periods enjoy pissing me off by refusing to follow a specific pattern. It seems that my body menstruates only when there's enough iron in me to give up. I suspect I have heavier periods if I'm more well-nourished.

    Maybe it's true with you as well; my sister and I have the same habits, and her periods come once every two months, and they're either heavy or light. It's totally normal for your period to fluctuate with your habits and emotions. But for the sake of control, try to keep track of your period on a calendar. I'd hate for you to get a surprise visit. :/

    That's what happened when I started taking birth control...and still does sometimes. If you're not on birth control, do the test!

    Did u recently start taking birthcontrol. Sometimes that can be the cause.

    If ur young, and I assume you are, then yes, ur period will likely fluctuate through your teen years then settle once u get older.
