    I actually live in the US.

    My parents are separated. My dad consistently offers to pick me up and let me live with him, but I keep saying no.

    I want to move into an apartment that I pay for with my own money. That way, it will be harder for my mom to find excuses to infantilize me.

        My dad wants me to be an adult and do adult things. That's what my dad is like.

        My dad is annoying. he is not perfect. but he doesn't hit me or force me to act like a child.

          Maybe try to move in with your dad then. You're not oligated to take care of your abuser.
