This sounds like a premise for Home Alone. It sounds to me that they must not like you or that there's some other problem in regards to you. Perhaps, they find you annoying to travel with or they feel that they need a break from you. When they get back you can suggest that you all go in for family therapy. If they refuse therapy or simply talking to you about the affair, you could ask a therapist about this and see if, perhaps, the fault lies in some form of personality issue or something else.
