My dad gripes all the time. He bitches like an old naggy lady about nothing. Goes on and on and on. My mom is nothing like that. She is totally normal. My dad? Someone needs to shoot him, or sedate him. Is this normal?

    Most people who are negative naggers when they are 75 were that way when they were 20 .I don't whine much its does no good and I am probably old enough to be your granddad.

    My dad whines, nags, and complains for hours about things too. It's the behavior of a typical old person grumpy senior citizen

    Maybe, he feels under appreciated? My maternal grandmother is a nagger and an all around pain in the butt to be around most of the time. She has complained about feeling under appreciated. So, we invited her for thanksgiving last year and she cooled off for awhile.

    Spend time with him. Ask him if there's anything that he would like to do. Good luck! :)
