Is it normal for your chest to go inward??

My chest kinda goes inward in the middle of the diaphram. its weird and pretty noticable to me. is this normal? im a 17 year old male, about 5'6", and i dont like itt

    Loadsa people have it, no links to cancer whatsoever. See a doctor if you wanna be sure, but I am not familiar with any actual health issues associated with this.

  • yeah my friend had that, he was realy slim and mucually but he had a inward chest around his diphram, stuck in about 2-3cm, and he died of stomach cancer last month

    Yes more than likely it's pectus excavatum I believe that's how you spell it. Anyway I have it and it's fairly normal but doctors like to know to make sure it's not crushing your organs. Anyway yours is not that bad but I know as a girl with it that it's a very self conscious thing and I still am not secure with it. So if you don't like it that is really common
