I think there is a problem with both blacks and whites being racist. Then there are others who accept everyone. I think someone who is racist shows ignorance. It tells more about the person than the race he is putting down.

I think people are more openly racist on the internet because they think it's anonymous (it isn't). But this means people are still secretly racist in real-life but just pretend not to be.

I genuinely believe things are getting better. Just more slowly than it looks.

Racism is still kinda unavoidable, even though today all races are considered equal (at least in the U.S.) We all know we're supposed to believe that everyone of different races is equal no matter what, but sometimes stereotypes are hard to avoid. People are afraid of what's different, that's why racism even occurred in the first place. Rights for people of different races have improved, but some people's mindsets still haven't changed.

We're all racist to an extent, but I think people should strive not to show it at least and try to get along with others-'tolerance' is a well chosen word on this issue.

I'm brown (east indian), I like white people and have dated many white chicks and will probably marry one.

However on the rare occasion I have experienced some negativity from whites usually when I've gone outside the big cities where I live. It's a huge turn-off and it pisses you off-especially when you think these yokels must own TVs and seen bollywood stars or been exposed to other cultures.

But I guess some people are just so ignorant, xenophobic, close-minded and stuck in their community and ways they can't change their ways.

Anyways at least things aren't as bad as they were during the times of Segregation and race riots 60 years ago.
