Heh! What's wrong with that? It's lunchtime! Dinner is lunch here. And tea is dinner. And you don't even want to know what we've done with supper and breakfast. :P
Dinner actually kind of is supper if it's at 8pm. Plus we have high tea, brunch, elevenses, and loads of people I know eat breakfast cereal right before bed. We are weird indeed but you love it. :P
Elevenses.. I didn't know that was a real thing. I'm actually watching all of the LotR movies right now, on The Return of the King, and Pippin' said in the first one, "What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?"
Aragorn must be American. Haha. But yes, weird is always a pleasure. :P
Ha! I liked the term "elevenses" so I looked it up to get more info....I like the American definition:
"In the United States, elevenses refers to the antiquated custom of the late-morning whiskey break."
I wish we still did such things! I've always been jealous of countries that do things like this. My favorite tradition is the siesta. Why the hell can't we relax and have a snack, nip of whiskey and a nap mid-day? I think things like this are a benefit to happiness and health.
You guys will make up a meal just to eat.. we just call them snacks. We don't give each hour a meal name. That's too much work. I could go for some hot chocolate right now. We've got freezing rain outside, I wish it were snow. Then the hot chocolate would be even better.
Well, define strange.. It's 5am. Since I don't work currently, I don't sleep normally. I've always had an odd circadian rhythm. The night is my day! Thanks for asking, but I am more than okay. Tonight I decided to indulge on the LotR trilogy. I wanted to watch Star Wars but I don't actually have any of the good ones on DVD or VHS. I settled.
Is it normal for white people to have dinner at 5:30

If you want to get get technical, all I had for "dinner" was a mug of apricot juice. Mind you, I drunk it at 2AM or 3AM.

Ha! Elevenses is great! Coffee and cake, or a biscuit and tea. Or, in my case, a cruller and hot chocolate.
You're up at a strange hour. You okay?
