Is it normal for the president to micro-manage?

Is is normal for a president that hired a guy who ignored $34,000 in back taxes to RUN THE TREASURY of the United States, to tell the rest of the country to NOT hire anyone for a gov't job if they owed taxes?

He did that today on the news, and I began to wonder about him commenting on Tiger Woods' whoring around, and that black professor that got into it w/ the white cop that asked for ID when it appeared the man was breaking into a house [he had locked himself out, neighbors called]...

So, in conclusion, don't presidents have more to do than to comment on our lives, to dictate private industry executives' bonuses, and to micro- manage everyone and everything while the country is going down the toilet?

I just do not feel like this is normal...

I dont think federal law should supersede state laws but it does.

Ever wonder how governments become tyrants?
