Is it normal for someone with an abusive father to hate males and sex?
So my friend, who is 15 lives with her mother and sister , her parents are divorced now but she told me about how her father was abusive and neglectful. He really sounds like an asshole from the stories I've heard and she told me he stalks her family. He won't sign her passport either so they can't travel because you need both parents signatures.
So I think this might be the reason she hates males so much . but she hates humans and society in general. She is a vegetarian too, she thinks animals are more important than humans and doesn't care if people die and wishes some people would die like people in politics .she's really violent in sports and stuff. She would never hurt her friend but she would have no problem hurting someone else and she know martial arts.
She also HATES anything sexual, she calls it vulgar, says sex ed shouldn't be taught in school and only parents should teach their children about the basic stuff like menstrual cycle.
She thinks romance is boring and meaningless and when its in a TV show or book she calls it 'filler' even though its part of the story.
She says she probably won't have a boyfriend/girlfriend (idk if she's a lesbian or not)
I know she supports gay rights and LGBT stuff.
She says she wants to marry just for the tax benefits and never actually see the other person.
She's an atheist.
I told her that like 90% of males are jerks and she said 'more like 99%' .
She likes some males though (not romantically)
I just don't know what to do. Sometimes she's annoying with all the stuff she complains about that is 'vulgar' I agree with her on most stuff just not in an as extreme manner.
Like for example, we were watching a pg13 movie in English class and there was a scene were a guy and girl were kissing and then it showed the guy pulling the string where the corset is to take it off and it showed blurred kissing and implied they had sex (all was relevant to the plot) IT WASNT EXPLICIT AT ALL IT WAS JUST SUGGESTIVE.
And she turned away and covered her eyes and she basically told me to do the same but I didn't I watched it anyway.
I agree with her that there's still a lot of sexism today but she shouldn't just HATE males in general.
