I used to cut myself (no emotional reasons, so I'm not looking for attention), and burn myself. Done it on my face as well (cut), although those healed amazingly. If you look on my face very closely, you still see a few scars.
I think it is an adrenaline thing.
I stopped cutting when I realized that I don't wants scars. Now I just give myself small electric shocks from wires, get my brother to hit me, and so on.
I like doing it for the feeling of it and to see how long I can stand it. Lol.
Is it normal for someone who hasn't felt physical pain...

People usually cut themselves because they were depressed or because of some underlining emotional reason, which wasn't why I done it.
