Is it normal for some to be hated as much as lebron is right now

Lebron James decided to play the next couple of years in Miami, leaving his home state of Ohio. The state of Ohio has so much hate for lebron that they kicked a couple out of the indies games for wearing a lebron jersey. Also he gets boooed in every away game. So is it possible for anyone to get this much hate?

    just wait to turn on the game until the third quarter's over, you won't even know he's playing.

    Ya he is probably the best in the NBA right now next to d rose or Kobe. So all that hate is just jealousy. I personally love watching him play but he just beat two of my fav teams in the playoff (celtics and bulls) so I kinda hate him right now too.
