She probably cares more than you think but likely feels like it's a lost cause. She knows she's obese and won't appreciate you talking about it. Bringing it up over and over is not going to help. In fact, it could make it worse. Pushing the issue will probably make her want to avoid you so she doesnt have to listen to it. All you can do is be there for her and set an example. Watch what you eat in front of her. Metabolism often plays a bigger factor than people realize. Eating poorly in front of her (even if your metabolism can handle junk food) will make her want to do the same. Eat healthy foods only when you're with her. Don't enable her with eating junk. Other than that there's not much you can do.
