you know, I'm not sure if I can do that at this point. I guess I'm a little old fashioned in thinking the man still needs to be the "chaser". Me approaching him was something I NEVER EVER DO! and I told him that. He needs to do something, I can't get my feelings hurt anymore by all this confusion. thanks for the good advise though.

Not if you're shy. Think of being shy as being crippled: no matter how much you want to walk, you just can't.
Help him out and make some of the moves for him, he would appreciate it.
