Is it normal for random words to pop up in my head

Damn it! I replied with a little ditty of my own but it didn't post. Grrrrr. Well here it is, then I won't bug you anymore (today). Oh, sir dappled, you made my day, using my name in your poem that way. My brain can't obtain all those big words, tho my skull would make a good home for some birds. They go in thru the socket where there once was an eye, and out thru the other when its time to go fly. When they return, they shit in my head. That's just not nice! Now those birds are dead :(
