I never understood why is everybody so afraid of clowns. I've always thought they are awesome and funny, but everyone else thinks they're creepy. Does anyone else here like clowns or do you think they're scary?
This is only a personal theory but I suspect people's problem with clowns comes from the nature of their make-up. It's there to fix a smile or a sad face in place and you never know what the inner truth is. It's a natural instinct to feel they are somehow deliberately masking their true feelings and, thus, intentions. And given that they're supposedly there to entertain children (who are often petrified of them), it's a bit of a powderkeg.
Then again, there are people who entertain their children by sitting them down in front of horror films, so who am I to judge clowns?
Clowns are nice they gove you balloon toys and hug you their really nice but i dont like mean clowns face your fear i havent been afraid since i was 0! :) they are nice so hate the bad clowns love the nice clowns yay
They dress up in make up, colourful cloths, and hang around with little kids. They then preform simple tricks and unfunny jokes....
what's NOT to hate?
I'm not scared of clowns but I don't like them either. I suppose it's because they're too bright and in-your-face. Maybe if I went to the circus again, I'd appreciate them as I use to as a kid. Oh well. I did read 'IT' when I was eleven and it was pretty freaky, clowns kind of weren't the same since...but scared, naw. Just annoying.
I think they are creepy but I don't think it's odd for some people to enjoy them.
