Seriously? Why is everybody thinking this is bullshit? It's not at all bullshit. It's quite rude for you and several other people to come on this post and say it's fake. FUCK YOU! Good thing I wasn't asking about a more serious issue that I was very concerned about because that type of reaction is pretty shitty.
If you just think it's stupid, then I agree, it IS stupid. Who the heck calls cops over an unpleasant phone call?? I didn't think it was normal but this site is called IIN so what's wrong with asking? We live in small towns where the cops actually do have time for petty shit like this.
Cops often don't seem to have time to respond to life-threatening calls where people's lives are actually in danger. Think of all the stories you've heard where women try getting restraining orders from the police, trying to get any sort of protection from their exes, but they aren't taken seriously, and then, lo and behold, they get murdered by their crazy psycho ex. So this same group of police has time to call people over a whiny breakup? Unless he lives somewhere were absolutely NOTHING happens, it cannot possibly be true. You know there are means to make it look like a phone call comes in from a different number on caller ID, right? I'm not saying your ex isn't insane, but I don't believe that this is how the police operate.
Is it normal for people to get so upset over a phone call?
