Poomplex - i have been in love with my best friend for about 8 years already. No one else but myself knows about this. it is only till a couple days ago that i stumbled upon this website & decided to pour my heart out via in here as i badly need to ventilate.
over the years, i have tried to get over this feeling & but i've failed. whenever she is down or needs a friend, i will drop everything just to be there for her. in fact when i was still in a relationship with my ex, my best friend has never left my heart.
irregardless of whether she accepts me as her partner or just as a best friend, i will definitely stick with her throughout this difficult period. i love her so much that i wouldn't mind if she loves me on a rebound.
Is it normal for people to fall for their best friend?
