I think the sad thing is, whether this be fair or not, bad grammar says a lot about a person and it's interpreted in many different ways. I will be the first to tell you that every time I read "your" when it should be "you're" I think to myself "what an idiot". What I find unfathomable is that people who read so much can make so many grammatical errors. It's as if there is no retention whatsoever.
