I live in Texas and my parents were totally accepting and treat my girlfriend like another daughter. I believe it just depends on the parents. Society is changing and so are the parents. Some just have trouble overcoming the stigma they were raised to believe.
Is it normal for parents to reject their gay sons and daughters?
