I've been in 4 private schools and 2 public schools.
I actually got a better education in a public high school than any of the private schools I was previously in could ever have given me.
The school was actually better controlled with less drugs and violence than the private schools too.
The private schools put up with whatever shit you may cause and grade you generously because they just want your parents' money, whereas the public school operated according to the national education standard and was strict on discipline.

I'm not saying all private schools are bad, just that the ones I went to were not as good as the public schools in my area.
