Is it normal for parents/kids to kiss each other on the lips?

  • I don't kiss my family members on the lips, except my grandma, because they aren't an affectionate bunch. However I kiss many of my friends on the lips and there is nothing sexual about it. And my nieces and nephews always kiss me on the mouth because they like kisses. Children do not know that some adults place different meaning on kisses. And why do we place that meaning on it? Is it "wrong" to show affection?

Who told you it was wrong? A kiss does not have to be sexual. Massages can also be sexual but I don't assume my massage therapist wants to fuck me just because they rub my back?
