my parents do this to me, I personally don't like it so when they go to kiss me I turn my head to the side a little so they kiss my cheek instead of my lips. everyone seems to be fine with it exept my dad, he gets mad when I do it and makes me do it over again. i find this extremely creepy to be honest, but I can tell you 100% truthfully he's not being sexual in any way, he just sees it as a sign of respect I guess. that might be the case with your bf and his mom, but thats just my opinion.
