Perhaps I'm unclear when I label myself as a nihilist. I mean that with regard to larger social issues, mainly politics. I literally don't care about it; I find it to be pointless. I do, however, care about human beings and my personal interactions with them. I think your mistaking my limited scope of idealism for some broader feelings about the world. I suppose it depends on how you define politics.
You're assuming a lot about my feelings regarding race, which again, I've not really expressed, but you seem to make the logical folly of assuming that anyone who disagrees with you ever must be a cunt licking liberal with no sense of logic...which is stupid in a million ways. Assuming that people are illogical and have nothing to offer in terms of an argument just because of their political orientation is just as stupid as all of your complaining about being judged for your own opinions. My feelings and opinions about race are complicated, and I find all of your presumptions to be ridiculous, and I would honestly appreciate it if you would quit telling what I think and getting it dead wrong.
With regards to my trip, nope, you didn't hit a nerve, I just simply don't feel a stitch guilty about having a vacation. You don't know what I do with my time or my money; I could be mother fucking Theresa on leper island with blind kids and shit, that doesn't mean I have to apologize for a trip.
