Yes it's normal. I have two daughters and one will be 4 next week and at about age 2 and a half she started exploring herself. As a mom I was freaked out seeing this however as I researched it more by looking on babycenter.com and talking with her doctor and a friend who has a daughter a little older than mine they all confirmed this. They say you shouldn't tell them it's bad or anything but you can try to distract her on to something else so she will stop! I do that cuz even though they say it's normal it's still ocward for me but I don't wanna make her feel bad so I just try to distract her with toys or something while in the tub, ya know! I do suggest reading up on it at babycenter.com because they explain in a lot of detail and it's too much for me to type out for you on my iPod touch so check out that website! Good luck!
