Is it normal for my soccer team to give so many wedgies?

So I’ve recently join a new soccer team and I’ve been a part of the team for almost 2 weeks now and I’ve just realized that we all give each other a lot of wedgies. So since the first practice we had an initiation where all the newbies(myself included) recieved a huge wedgie before practice in the locker room. Throughout that first practice I was given a wedgie at least 5 times and from then to now I’ve been given at least 75 wedgies, I’ve given a good amount of wedgies too cause everyone else was but I didn’t think much of it at the moment. We’re all guys by the way ages 14-18 if that helps.

    Well you are playing a "sport" so expect some hazing. Just try and be a man while you're actually playing the game and don't flail and flop and dive. Don't be a euro diving diva. Actually just play American football like a man, leave soccer for your sister.

      Soccer is a sport, the U.S is one of the only countries that actually likes American football, you barely answered my question, soccer is the most played sport in the world while football doesn’t even make top 10.

    Part of the male bonding experience is hazing. Pranks, insults, hurting each othe,r should all be taken in good fun. It's actually much, much worse if you're not a part of it.

    Now, if a finger starts slipping into exit-only areas, then you should be worried.
