Is it normal for my nipples to be so sore

My nipples have been extremely sore the past 2 weeks. They usually are sore right before I get my period, but that usually only lasts 2-3 days. What can cause this?

        Today it'd be called sexual harassment.
        In the early 90s it was a requirement to enter jr high.
