If I have it right, you are renting from her, not the other way around. Either way it depends on what's in the rental agreement/lease/contract. If you are renting from her, though, you might be in violation of your lease, which depending on where you live can mean *you* getting evicted. Maybe making them your dad's cat is a way around that, I dunno, but good luck!
