  • Wow.

Generally 16yos don't own houses or have a mortgage.
Plus they are too young to solely hold the lease of tenancy on a rental!
Bills, amenities, again are via adult contract (gas, electricity, water, phone, etc.)!
Traveling around ie Grocery shopping, etc, is a tad difficult just on a bus!
Owning white goods, utensils, and furniture and many other things must mean you're rich at 16!
Money and savings and even tax, plus saving for holidays and those out of the ordinary times, is hard!
The responsibility of being totally independent for your life at 16 is remarkable!
Making ALL meals everyday plus cleaning, and disinfecting and maintenance on your property, WHILST either going to school or working or both! Must be a big strain on your independence!

Wow, only 16 with all this responsibility (and MUCH more). You must be thinking of having kids of your own soon? Please note, its MUCH MORE work ontop of ALL that independence WORK you have already.

'Independence' is NOT just getting your haircut and keeping dental appointments.
Independence means not depending on anyone and fully taking care of yourself and usually others as well (since you are so independent people start relying on YOU more)

    All this and 16?
Its ironic, but I feel I didn't really mature until 25, and I moved out and became 'independent' at age 18!!
