Is it normal for my libido to have changed so suddenly?

I usually can only masturbate once every few days. Twice on a really good day. But for the past few days it's all I can think about. I did it three times yesterday and once today and not even an hour later I was ready to go again. There's nothing wrong with a high libido but I feel worried that mine has shifted so drastically so suddenly. Will it go back to normal?
